Our one and two bedroom ocean apartment suites come with air conditioning, wifi, fully equipped kitchenettes, a swimming pool, and direct access to miles of pristine beach on the Pacific Ocean.

Since 2014, we have been providing guests with ultra-comfortable beds, luxury linen, and onsite free parking, ensuring a magical stay at our boutique hotel. Enjoy delicious cuisine at our onsite bar restaurant, La Sirena Gordita, overlooking the Pacific Ocean with regular whale and dolphin sightings.

A complimentary welcome beverage greets you upon arrival, and for stays of a week or more, we offer a complimentary bottle of wine to enhance your experience. Each apartment includes beach chairs and towels, allowing you to relax by the pool or on the beach while soaking up the sun and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

The new Chalacatepec airport, currently under development will be located midway between Careyes and Punta Perula, 15 miles from the inland town of Tomatlan, 17 miles north of Chamela and 40 miles north of La Manzanilla, and will be operational in late 2026, and an hour away from Villa Star of the Sea. This will mean there will be more airline options to the area.

For six to eight persons we can arrange a horse back trek on the beach, or take advantage of light traffic on our local roads and enjoy a morning bicycle ride.
